After the strenuous ascent and descent at the Zellernhornwiesen for a great view of Hohenzollern Castle, we were still looking for traditional food at a late hour (9 p.m.). Here we found what we were looking for and were very, very full. The staff is very friendly, you feel right at home. The Maultaschen were very tasty, the cordon bleu was great too, the croquettes were totally crispy! The starters (salad & fädlesuppe) and main courses were perfectly timed and the price was also very good. There are even small portions for medium hunger pangs (they were still reasonable in terms of quantity). If we weren't on the through trip we would come again! Keep it up!

We were very disappointed after so many positive reviews. Our pre-soups were only lukewarm, and my Maultaschen ... I haven't eaten those yet. Too bad. Maybe we had a bad day.
